Bolinao Pangasinan is blessed with the beauty of nature which is evident with its cream colored sand beaches, rock formations and caves which are at the edge of the country facing the West Philippine Sea.
Patar White Beach
Who doesn’t love powdery white sand and crystal clear water? It may not be as nice as the sand of Boracay but the good thing about the place is that is not crowded. Its just perfect for me as I love quiet and peaceful place, where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. This beach is really a treasure of Bolinao!
Rock Formations
As a person who love taking photos, these amazing rock formations are great for landscape photography or even just for your profile picture on facebook. This place is a top choose for shooting for music videos, movies and pictorial. We even saw photographers having their photoshoot in the area. It is also a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. You need to pay Php50/person to view these attractions.
These rock formations are really picture perfect therefore I strike a pose! 😀
Puerto Del Sol Beach Resort and Hotel Club
One of the best resort to stay in Bolinao with Mediterranean inspired structure and with 5 different type of accommodation that suit ones preference. It has a nice pool, shallow beach front, restaurant that offer great food and different activities can be done in the resort. Check my review of this resort > Puerto Del Sol -The Best Beach Resort in Bolinao Pangasinan
Cape Bolinao Lighthouse
It is the second tallest lighthouse in the Philippines overlooking the West Philippine Sea. A stunning view from the top of the lighthouse would be great but unfortunately its not accessible to go up.
Enchanted Cave
Take a dip on the fresh and cold water in the cave. It is nice to see this kind of attraction but paying Php90/person for viewing and 120/person for swimming and Php20 for the vehicle to park is too much! They make a business out of it!
Try also Binongey, suman cooked inside a bamboo, I love the smell and taste of the bamboo and banana leaves infuse with the sticky and tasty rice. But I like the “Inangit” of Pampanga better.
Bolinao Pangasinan has many great places for us to discover, we only tap few of them! I must go back to visit their falls and other hidden wonders of nature.
