The 1st International Conference on Kapampangan Cuisine and Food Tourism 2024 aims to celebrate and promote the rich culinary heritage of Pampanga as the Culinary Capital of the Philippines and tagged as Culinary Heartland of the Philippines.
This event will bring together experts, chefs, and enthusiasts to discuss the significance of Kapampangan cuisine in the global food tourism landscape. By fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration, the conference will contribute to the growth and recognition of Pampanga’s unique gastronomic identity.

One of the attractions at the First International Conference on Kapampangan Cuisine and Food Tourism is KÁLAM: Kapampangan Culinary Gift, which is a visual art exhibit that opens on March 21 at 10 a.m. at the HAU Plaza San Jose in front of the Center for Kapampangan Studies. Curated by Joel Mallari, himself an artist, the exhibit will feature works of different artists. Artist Agui Naldo of Mabalacat City has a separate exhibit inside the museum of the Center for Kapampangan Studies.
