Orchid Gardens Hotel in San Fernando, Pampanga is a 2.5 hectares complex where The Tavern Hotel and Villas is situated. This promising property is just few minutes away from the intersection, less than a kilometer away from the City Hall, the Provincial Capitol and the Jose Abad Santos Avenue, formerly Olongapo-Gapan Road.
The location of this resort was formerly known as Orchids Farm, a prime resort in 1980’s-1990’s which belongs to the elites that time but today everyone can enjoy this jewel of San Fernando City. You don’t need to travel too far to indulge yourself with a relaxing resort feel.
The landscape architecture of the resort is stunning which composed of lush greeneries and other tropical plants, a diverse range of flora and ofcourse different type of orchids.
The Hotel Rooms and Villas are tropical inspired that use the natural lightning as to conserve energy and add to the overall resort ambiance. The furnitures and fixtures are simple yet elegant that are Asian inspired. Huge painting of orchids are also displayed in every room adding to the relaxing feel while staying at the resort.
The bed are comfortable, I had a relaxing sleep during my stay. And if you are a business traveller, this resort is also perfect. They have a fast internet connection if you need to be online or check some emails during your stay.
The pool is clean and perfect for the summer season. You will definitely take a plunge to refresh your body and mind.
This tropical-themed-resort have wave pool with jacuzzis perfect for family bonding and group outing. I don’t have enough time to enjoy this facility but I will definitely good back to experience it. 🙂
Staycation is not complete without food! This resort is offering Filipino and Kapampangan dishes at Imang Nene Restaurant. Kapampangan are known to be great cooks in the Philippines making Pampanga as the Culinary Capital of the country. There is no doubt about that!
Refreshments? They have that, the shakes they offering will satisfy your cravings for something sweet and cold that is suitable for hot summer season. I like the Buko Pandan Shake personally. 🙂
They have Sisig Puso ng Saging, slightly sour yet tasty dish perfectly matched the steamy hot white rice.
One of the favorite! The Beef Kare Kare is made with real peanut butter which has the right sweetness and rich sauce matched with bagoong. It’s one of the best Kare Kare I tasted in Pampanga so far. 🙂
They also have Seafood Rice. It’s just ok for me. I’m longing for the taste of the seafood in it, nonetheless, its not bad at all.
For dessert, I had Bukayong Saging and Turon Ala Mode. Perfect way to end a meal!
This resort is also perfect for OOTD!
Watch out for my photos in this resort in collaboration with Nepo Mall Angeles, Penshoppe and Sebago Philippines! 🙂
Overall, I had a good stay. The staff are friendly and I love the resort feel, it’s quite relaxing, I wish I can stay longer actually. Lol! What I love also about Orchid Gardens is the wifi, it’s very fast, I can do my online task while staying at the hotel. The food is good! Simple yet tasty! I strongly recommend this resort if you want a staycation in Pampanga.
