Microtel by Wyndham in Cabanatuan City-A Preferred Budget Hotel in Nueva Ecija

Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham in Cabanatuan is part of international budget chain of hotel with 50 spacious air-conditioned rooms with essential amenities. This hotel is located in Sta. Arcadia with is a quiet place but accessible to the city which is about 10-15 minutes away by taking their main transportation vehicle that is tricycle.

It is my first time in Cabanatuan City as well as to stay in Microtel, lucky enough I was invited by my blogger friend Mervin to join him in exploring the city and the hotel.

We stayed in a Queen Double Room with 2 queen-sized beds which are comfortable to sleep with as they have Chiropractor-approved mattress, it has also colored TV with cable channels above the cabinet, study table which is in front of a mirror, window seat, controlled air-conditioning, IDD and NDD phone, electronic key card system, radio clock, fully automated fire system, internet access, bathroom with toilet, shower with hot and cold water and basic toiletries. Our room has a nice view of the garden and swimming pool. What I like about our room is that it’s very spacious and you only get what you need.

The pool is so inviting, so I decided to take a sip! 🙂

They have 50 hotel rooms, 6 are Queen Suite Room, 42 are Queen Double or Single Queen Room and 2 Handicapped Room which are can be either smoking or non-smoking depending on your choice, so make sure tell the Front Desk staff regarding your preference upon check in.

The Queen Suite Room has the same amenities with the Queen Room with additional feature and amenities such coffee/tea making facilities, microwave oven, refrigerator, kitchen counter with sink, sofa sleeper and bathtub.

In the lobby, they have a vending machine for snack and ice cream, water and ice dispenser and free coffee available 24 hours.

They also have one food & beverage outlet, Liquid Bar and Restaurant offering sumptuous Filipino and International dishes open from 6:30 am to 2:00 am. The breakfast buffet is also served here. Live acoustic entertainment is available every Wednesday to Friday from 6 pm to 10 pm.

We tried their Darker Forest Shake, Chopseuy and Sinampalukang Manok. I love the food! 🙂

I like their Darker Forest Shake, it’s not too sweet, you can taste the bitterness of the dark chocolate!

Their Chopseuy is also delicious,the vegetables are not over cooked and the sauce is very tasty given they only put hotdog in replace of meat or shrimp.

I also like this dish, the sourness of the broth is just ok, a perfect comfort food! 🙂

Microtel by Wyndham Cabanatuan is really a nice hotel for travellers, tourists and even for companies who need lodging and function room for their meetings, seminars and conferences. The hotel caters every basic need for everyone at affordable rates. I will give the hotel a 7/10 likes! A must stay in Cabanatuan City!
