Blue Flappers Marquee Mall is now open to serve freshly tossed wings and other famous New York finger food. Baguio Craft Brewery beers are also available which compliment the items being served. Pampanga Bloggers’ Society members are invited in the soft opening and blessing of the store so we had the chance to try their appetizing food.
Will Garcia with Mr. Mark and Miss Cherry, owners of the restaurant. As a young entrepreneur, I admire their humility even they accomplish so much things in life. I think that is secret to be successful in putting up a restaurant or any business.
The Interior
The restaurant is decorated with interesting pieces which one of the paintings was created by Miss Cherry. The furnitures being used are created by a Kapampangan from Santa Rita. What I love about the owners is that they give importance to the talents and products of our fellow cabalen even they have a choice to use imported products. Well, local products can compete in the global market just give them opportunity.
The Food
They have wide variety of famous New York finger food, salads, tostados, quesadillas and pasta. Here are some of the items we tried. 🙂
Open Faced Tostados
This dish is very light. Slightly seasoned beef over the crispy tostados with shredded lettuce and garlic mayo dressing.
Chicken Quesadillas
Grilled soft tortilla stuffed with chicken pesto complimented with spicy salsa. It’s a complete meal on its own.
They have also refreshing salads for those who are health conscious clients.
Kora Salata
Oriental Salad
Spaghetti with Sun Dried Tomatoes and Shrimps
Angel Hair Pesto with Chicken
Blue Flappers is also offering Flappers(wings) and Drummettes(drumlets) with 8 flavors to choose from. I love the Salted Egg, Garlic Pesto Parmesan and the all time favorite Texas Barbeque.
Salt Egg Flappers
Garlic Pesto Parmesan Drummettes
Texas Barbeque
Original Hot and Spicy Chili Garlic
When your done indulging your taste buds with this tempting flappers and drummettes, just place the bones in this cute Bone Can. 🙂
Onion Rings with Melted Cheese
Argellanas (Home Made Biscuits) Ala Mode
Lastly, we had Argellanas, I like the play in the sweetness and texture of this dessert. Argellanas is like Otap but the best version of it for they use honey to sweetness it. The glazed honey used reminds me of the Romana’s peanut brittle of Baguio City. It looks so simple but its definitely a must try! 🙂
Blue Flappers Marquee Mall is one of the must try restaurant in the area if you want to enjoy famous New York finger food. The menu is well balanced as they are offering sinful items and salads which caters for the health conscious customers. Their Baguio Craft Brewery beers are also available that matches the finger food being served.
