Pampanga Restaurant: Angeles Fried Chicken

Angeles Fried Chicken also known as AFC is the oldest running restaurant in Angeles City. It is also one of the famous restaurant in the city, the Chicken recipe is pass from generation to generation.

As a Kapampangan I really love this restaurant even before I blog about it, I remember that every weekend me and my friends dine in this restaurant. Fried Chicken lovers like me will surely love it. Different all time Filipino dishes are also offered such as Sisig, Chopseuy, Pancit Canton and etc.

The restaurant has a 80’s theme with the combination of red and earth colors evident in their table cloths and wooden furniture. It gives you a relaxing feeling as you dine complimented with great and friendly service staff.

For our dinner, we had the following dishes in generous portion. 🙂 Manyaman! “Delicious”

The Crispy Chicken Salad composed of fresh veggies and fruits such as Lettuce, Water Chestnuts, Carrots and Bell Pepper. The chicken fillet is fried perfectly. This salad is a full meal actually for those who are on low carbs diet! Love this dish!

Pampanga is also famous for the Sizzling Sisig, we have different version of this one but I love the Sisig of AFC, it has the right combination of Pig’s face, chicken liver, onions, chili and seasonings. Perfect pulutan or match it with steamed rice! Mayaman!

The Lumpiang Shanghai is just ok, I love it if it is more crispy.

Love this for dish for it has may fave ingredients such cashews, veggies and shrimps. The creamy sauce and crunchiness of the veggies and cashews is perfect combination. Shrimps with Cashew Nuts is a must try.

As a Fried Chicken lover, I really like the Japanese Fried Chicken, this is something new and exciting dish to entice our taste buds, the garlicy and sweet flavor is combined with  properly fried chicken. The sauce is flavorful, sweet and sour compliment the dish.

The Camaron Rebosado is a dish that I love but for this one I think the batter is just plain, adding more seasoning for this dish make this more delicious.

The Chicken Barbecue is just ok. It lacks the grill flavor nonetheless its delicious, love the sauce also.

AFC Fried Rice. I like this flavorful rice with shrimp, egg and veggie bits.

AFC Fried Chicken is the best seller and their specialty, you can choose if Crispy or Original. This is my favorite! The chicken is so tender with distinct flavors make this chicken different from those fast food chains.

Angeles Fried Chicken is a nice place for family, couples and friends who wants to enjoy great food while in a budget. All the dishes are delecable. The service staff are very friendly and the ambiance is very homey and laid back.
